Mommy and Daddy thought everyone in Houston was going crazy, buying water and bread and gas....BUT as it turns out Hurricane Ike hit us pretty hard! We were safe out our house and I slept right through it, but Mommy and Daddy were up all night! They kept saying how loud it was and windy! A tree fell right outside of my room, when Mommy saw that she was so thakful we were all ok! We lost power and the house was pretty hot and muggy. Mommy toughed it out for one day, but she could tell I was miserable, so we went to stay with Uncle Keith! Daddy stayed and helped out Grandma and Grandpa (their whole roof came off) then when Nona and Papa got home from the cruise, Daddy helped them out too! He is a good helper! These are some pictures from Nona and Papa's. The tree fell on my swingset.

Here I am in College Station! We stayed there a whole week! Uncle Keith took great care of me! I had lots of fun playing with Chloe! We shared toys!

I did some exploring. It was a little (lot) dirty so Mommy didn't want me touching a whole lot!

Uncle T and Aunt Karis came to say bye to me before going on their Aussie Adventure! I just keep telling myself, it will only be 13 weeks and you will see them again! I love you Aunt K and Uncle T! Thank you for coming to see me in College Station!

Aunt Marcy came over and brought baby Eli! I was so excited to meet him! I craweld inside his carseat! Mommy keeps saying I will be a mountain climber!

I just loved meeting Eli! He is still little, so Mommy was teaching me how to be extra careful! He has eyes just like me! Wow!

13 weeks is way too long to go without seeing your precious face, Tess Marie! I already miss you SO much more than you could ever know. I hope you remember Aunt Karis & Uncle Tyson - we love you oh SO much!
